On July 29, Yuria Nawate Preschool hosted a preschool observation and dialogue session for elementary school teachers and other education professionals.

Participants included elementary school teachers from Hekinan, Nishio, Anjo and Nagoya, a Nishio City council member, teachers from private kindergartens and preschools, and university faculty.

After an introduction to the Yuria Method and a tour of the preschool, participants gathered in small groups for tea and conversation. The discussion explored how early childhood settings and elementary schools can work more closely together, perceptions of early childhood education, and the challenges educators experience across transitions.

After seeing the learning environment in practice, participants commented that the theory was clearly reflected in what they observed, that children were actively engaging with one another, and that the educators themselves looked genuinely engaged and positive. We are grateful to everyone who joined us.
